INDUSTRY GROUPS:

  • If you would like your business listed in a different industy group than what it currently is, please submit your request for change to the Chamber at: marketing@clarendonhillschamber.com for the change in industry group to be made.

  • If you believe your business qualifies to be listed in the Chamber Member Business Directory in more than one industry group, you may submit your request to the Chamber at: marketing@clarendonhillschamber.com for consideration. Any business requesting a listing in more than one industry group must be voted on by the Chamber board, and requires a majority vote to be eligible. Industry groups are created for easier navigation and user experience. It is preferable for each business to be listed in one industry group. Industry groups may be changed, altered, or removed at any time at Chamber discretion depending upon types and number of businesses that are members.

INDUSTRY GROUP CONTENT GUIDELINES:

  • If a specific industry group wants to establish content guidelines for what may be distributed on Chamber Platforms for their specific industry, here is the process. Please note the Chamber staff or board cannot facilitate the ordination of this process. It is the sole responsibility of members from a specific industry group to take the following steps.

Step 1:

Independently set up an in-person or zoom “Content Guideline Discussion” meeting with members in your industry group. A 2/3 majority of members of that group must be present for a “Content Guideline Discussion”. All members must be informed in writing (Email or Text) of that meeting with more than 10 days notice.

Step 2:

During the “Content Guideline Discussion” meeting, establish the exact language of your guidelines in writing.

Step 3:

Vote on the exact language. Majority needed to pass.

Step 4:

Submit your exact guideline policy to the webform specified for the Chamber Board to review and take to a vote.

Please Note: If this process is not followed, the Chamber will assume that a specific industry group has no specific content guidelines and will default to using the General Chamber Blanket guidelines determined by the Chamber and the specific platform’s guidelines.
